FUTURES Stockholm - Powering Tomorrow with Photonics

FUTURES has been conceived and presented to the technology community by IOWN Global Forum to raise awareness of photonics-driven technology’s potential for the future beyond its member base. It is being offered as a public session during the IOWN Global Forum’s Member Meeting. IOWN Global Forum Members attending the IOWN Global Forum Member Meeting will be registered for FUTURES as part of their member meeting registration. FUTURES-only attendees will not be registered to attend the IOWN Global Forum Member Meeting sessions or functions.  

IOWN Global Forum was established in 2020 as a private sector organization to develop IOWN technologies and use cases. It is comprised of over 150 organizations representing multiple industries. The objective of the IOWN Global Forum is to accelerate innovation and adoption of a new communication infrastructure to meet our future data and computing requirements through the development of new technologies, frameworks, specifications, and reference designs in areas such as photonics R&D, distributed computing, use cases, and best practices.
