Emerging Optical and Compute Services in the Era of AI & Compute as a Service

Traffic patterns will evolve from providing connectivity between two Enterprise sites to providing connectivity from the Enterprise locations to the nearest Cloud access and Compute location.

This Enterprise to Cloud Compute model will fundamentally change the nature of traffic flows as well as the fundamental architecture of the network. Service providers will be required to provide transparent wavelength services to connect enterprises to their private clouts.
